AC3 Intreleaving. Which values should I use FINALLY?

I am confused. I used to use:

448kbps: 120
384kbps: 160

Now I visited the tutorials and it says something between 64 and 96. What about the preload value?

What if I transcode the AC3 into 224kbps. Please give me the correct values...

The truth is Snollygoster is that there is no CORRECT value. But values of between 500/64 and 500/96 seem to work for most people.

Why don't you do some more testing and get back to us with what works for you?

When interleaving an AC3 stream do you have to enter a value in both the box that says interleave audio every: X ms where X=64ms-96ms and also delay audio track by X ms where X= the value that you were given when demuxing the AC3 stream in DVD2AVI?

Please help!
