creating a auto press button with dvdauthor

Hi,

Can I raise a flag that will auto press a button when entering a menu -- using dvdauthor?
Currently I've established this connection by using a register and writing a VM code such as { if (g3 eq 4) { jump menu 53; }
Is there a way to do that with out using a code?
