Avidemux doesn't write aspect ratio properly?

I've attempted saving this video three times, it's a test encode of a scene from Dirty Harry. I set the PAR in x264 to As Input. The only thing I've added to the video filters is cropping the black borders (the disc is an NTSC region 1 anamorphic widescreen).

It's very obvious to me that the aspect ratio is incorrect. Here is a snapshot directly from MPCHC (I use the Combine Community Codec Pack).

Edit: I can reproduce using a 4:3 NTSC source using the same procedure. Output is PAR 1:1 where it should be X:Y. Please file a bug report at the Avidemux homepage.
