I have had a Philips 953 player for some time now, then I started trying to playback SVCD's created with the latest DVD2SVCD, with subtitles. However, the Philips 953, even though it can perfectly reproduce almost anything, it cannot show SVCD compliant subtitles.
Does anybody know of a firmware upgrade that could be applied to this particular dvd player?
I did several searches today but I had no luck. Maybe someone out there knows about such an upgrade?
