Openning an MPEG-TS file with MPC-HC

Hello all,
I've recorded a DVB-T stream using a software that does an exact copy of the stream, so the result is an mpeg-ts file which hosts a H.264 video stream and an AAC audio stream.
Problem is, I can not play this stream using MPC-HC.
It seems that all the splitters I've tried fail in extracting the audio stream correctly, so I end up with video only.
Does anyone know of a splitter that will manage to do a better job?

VLC plays the file with no problems, but I don't really like it...:)

Try to remux your file with TsMuxer (http://smlabs.net/tsmuxer_en.html).

Upload a sample file for the MPC developers. Then maybe they can fix the problem.

Brazil2, as far as I understand, TsMuxer is a stand alone application, I'm looking for a solution to view the file in MPC-HC (which means, I believe, that I'm basically looking for some kind of splitter/directshow filter).
clsid, I believe this to be a Halli error, as I can't construct a correct graph in GraphStudio as well.

Your file might be corrupted for some reason, I've already seen that many times. So just open it with TsMuxer and remux it to TS, as simple as that. Hopefully the new file will play in MPC-HC.

And as suggested use the internal MPEG PS/TS/PVA splitter of MPC-HC.

It would be nice to have a sample too, as Clsid asked for, because VLC is usually very strict with TS files and I find quite strange that a file which can be played in VLC can't be played in MPC-HC. I've seen more often the opposite, files that can't play in VLC, because not in specs, but which are playing in MPC-HC.

OK.
I've just realized that when recording I have several parameters with checkboxes that I can choose for the record.
The 3 parameters are PAT,PMT,ECM and after trying all 8 combinations of them, in some of the cases tsMuxer report it can't detect the stream type and in some it reports some tracks can not be recognized.
The default settings return the second error.

There is something weird with the AAC audio track. When using the built-in splitter MPC-HC loads the MPEG-1 audio decoder which obviously gives no sound. But it's working fine when using the Arcsoft splitter.

eac3to can demux the TS but after that the audio track is not properly detected by tools such as TsMuxer, YAMB+MP4box and MKVtoolnix. It looks like the AAC is using SBR extension but it seems that other infos are missing. Here stops my knowledge, hopefully someone else will understand what is going wrong.

BTW which app have you use to record the TS ?

Brazil2, what is this Arcsoft splitter you mentioned?
I've used SmartDVB (http://www.smartdvb.net/smartdvb/index.html), mainly because it allowed me to choose what codecs to use for the stream.
However, as seen in another (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=150581) thread, I'm open for suggestions. :)
