I am super new, this is my first rip. I downloaded the flaskrippack and followed the guides. The quality is perfect, the sound is low but I think I saw a slider for that in FlaskMPEG so I will try that next time. The problem I have is it does a little stutter or skip or whatever you want to call it about every 10 seconds. The FlaskMPEG I used was v0.6 if that helps. I watched the VOBs and those are perfect so it is FlaskMPEG causing this. Has anyone run into this and know how to fix this? Thanks.

EDIT: Oh yeah, the movie is "The Matrix" and it is progressive something. The guide told me this could cause problems. Is this the problem it could cause and my other rips might be great or is this just a general problem that would affect all rips?

Are you sure that you are letting it detect the fps correctly?

I had this problem, but I realized that I was trying to force the fps incorrectly.

Don't force it, it should auto-detect it. If it doesn't you must manualy set it.

How do I let it check the FPS?

When you load the vob files, it will autodetect the frame rate. You can see this if you go to the avi output options under the tab containing the framerate. If it already has a number according to NTSC or PAL standards, DON'T CHANGE IT. Most ALL of the time, its correct. If you change it to something you deem is correct, despite the autodetect, you will get EXACTLY what you mentioned. Like I have said, its taken me MONTHS to understand every single quam in this program, but I'm confident that I can work out ever problem.

I hope this helps you.
