TMPEG crashes

i have some divx movies that i would like to create into svcdz. At the point in the conversion guide where it says to load up my mpeg into tmpeg under the MPEG Tools section, as i click on run, looks up and does not respond...is there another way to get required files to load up into bbmpeg??
