That's because upscaling is a pointless waste of time in 99% of cases, most people sensibly avoid it, and everyone else who has ever asked has been similarly Avisynth-illiterate and unwilling to invest any time doing research.

i don't think so.. upscaling videos are much better than normal dvd5 dvd9 video.some times it can match up to HD quality:script:

You're either trolling or completely clueless.

You are incorrect. 5 minutes searching the forums will amply demonstrate this.

@upscalinglover
Hi!
Your posts are confusing to me.
First you said:hi,i am new to this upscaling thing..I view that as a very good reason to come to Doom9 Forums seeking advice from the many well-versed members here.
But then you said:i don't think so.. upscaling videos are much better than normal dvd5 dvd9 video.some times it can match up to HD qualityThis seems to be a statement of firsthand knowledge on your part - albeit very wrong.
So, first of all, please provide the details and sources for this suddenly new-found knowledge you seem to have acquired and second, please explain why you're seeking (and disputing) information here, if you "already know"...
