View Full Version : Nvidia 9x series, powerstrip crash = can't output 24 hz anymore using nvidia drivers

So, just discovered that 24 hz ouput from my win 7 x64 pc to my samsung 6 series 40" lcd + reclock makes watching h264 material silky smooth.

But after powerstrip fucked up the pc (tried to output 72hz) and windows running system restore, when I select 24 hz in the display control panel, it actually outputs 25hz. In the nvidia driver control panel 25 hz is now the lowest possible option. AAAAARG!

Reinstalling the driver and uinstalling pstrip doesnt help.

and if you want 24.000Hz, you can finetune the porch/total pixels settings. double-clicking on the camera in the pstrip config window will measure the refresh rate through DirectX, the same exact way Reclock does it.
