View Full Version : DVD-Rebuilder Oversizing after CPU Change?

I've scoured the forums and can't find a solution to this problem. I've seen other similar problems with oversizing, but none of the solutions fix my recent problem.

I just recently upped the CPU in my machine I use as my "workhorse" from a Pentium D 3.4 (dual core) to a QX6700 2.66 (quad core). I have, mostly, been using it with BD-Rebuilder (excellent program I might add) and have had no problems. Well, a few days ago I needed to "archive" a dvd and set about on my normal task of ripping/rebuilding/burning. I set it up a batch of 4 discs before I headed off to bed, as I have countless times before, and when I awoke I found an ImgBurn window open asking me about layer breaks. What?? I told it to ignore and it build the disc. This was the first disc. When done, the ISO file was 4.44Gb. I ran through a few things trying to think of what I might have changed, or installed to make this happen. All tha tI had done recently was change CPU's. Tha shouldn't have made a difference.

I searched the forums, tried several of the suggestions, even uninstalled/cleared the registry/reinstalled dvd-rebuilder, and nothings changed. All discs I try to make with dvd-rebuilder coume out JUST oversized. I had added the TargetSector in one of my attempts and that didn't help either.

I'll give you all that I can on my machine, any .ini files and setting of dvd-rebuilder I can. If you need more, please ask and I'll give you what I can. This is driving me nuts and I'm getting backed up on my, well, backing up.
