I have a BD drive in the mail and when i gets here i'm really interested in trying BD rebuilder. I would like to make some BD9's with DTS. Will these work with just a bluray player hooked straight into a TV? I haven't bought a player or a reviver yet. I plan to buy either a PS3 or a player and then a receiver/speakers way down the road when i have more cash (just bought a TV so im fairly broke). So basically it would just be the Player>HDMI>TV>TV's stereo out to PC speakers for the time being.
Thanks for any help :D

If your TV supports DTS directly it will work fine... If not, you won't get any sound. Read the owner's manual to avoid a great waste of time.

Hi!
On the other hand, if you do some research, you may find that some, if not many, standalone players have the ability to downconvert DTS audio to 2 channel stereo output...

Why not just make the copy using AC3 to begin with? It can always be remade later once you get the proper equipment, and then you'll probably want to make a copy with DTS-HD.

I'm thinking i might just build a cheap 780G HTPC.. That way i can play whatever when ever. Thanks for the responses though
