I checked the Faqs and some of it is pretty complex to me.
I cannot rip discs. It stops at file D. I use DVD Dycrepter, AnyDVD and DVD Shrink.
With my files I simply used ConvertXtoDVD.
Is windows updates messing with my computer?
What can I do. I have Windows XP. I am not very knowledgeable, i am afraid. Sorry

What is "file D"?

Sorry, yes, DVD Shrink and DVD Dycrypter said D. Basically the last file at the end of the disc.
I have two updates that cannot be removed. But I stopped being able to rip, really, a year ago.

Save your valuable data somewhere else and reinstall windows on the fresh formatted hard disk drive.

There are no "D" files on DVDs. Either do as Ghitulescu says, or try a newer decrypter, such as DVD FAB HD Decrypter.

If you have one HDD and one DVD then all your files on the DVD will be D: :). A screenshot would have been helpful because it replaces 1000 words ;)
