MPG damaged, help!

Hi everyone, my problem is :

I recorded a tv program, that it was supossed to last 3 hours. Well the mpg file I got was 5.7 GB but when I try to play it in any player only the first 21 minutes are possible to watch, the rest it seems to be lost. I think the mpg file should have any corruption or something like that, and I was wondering if possible to recover the rest of the mpg.

Any help would be appreciate. Regards

Thanks but when I reached 20:48 projectx says that "no sequence header found" . Do I have to start to think the file is lost?

You might try loading it into "MPEG2CUT2" and see if you can move the slider past the problem point and still see video. If not, the file is likely corrupted beynd recovery...

My program of choice for damaged mpeg files is VideoReDo Plus.

It is a pay program, but I believe the trial has unlimited functionality for a certain time period.

No success, neither MPEG2CUT2, neither VideoRedo, thanks a lot but the video is definitively lost.
