Green pixelated video from VC1 source

Backed up my copy of Fast & Furious (BD) into a m2ts file. This plays fine with PowerDVD9. But when I try to open the m2ts file in megui using directshowsource, the preview screen shows the video as almost totally green image with glimpses of the video if I advance the progress marker.

The same also applies if the avisynth is opened in VirtualDub.

I have converted tons of VC1 encoded HD-DVD's with no problem but this is the first time I have seen this behaviour.

Anybody have any clues what could be going on?

Ignore last post - seems that I had VC1 turned off in FFDSHOW for some reason. Okay now

What program did you use? Did you ripp it? Did you have convert it? Etc!

From by my firsts exprience in h264 experience, it was about you frame resolution. To be played in blu-ray players and Play Station 3, you need absolutly resultion (1920x1080 or 1280x720 at 23.976fps NTSC or 25FPS PAL).

As noted in my update I solved my problem. It was an issue with FFDSHOW not being turned on to decode VC1 content.

Like most users I rip content with AnyDVD or dumphd depending on what the key is. This creates a bunch of m2ts files. I then pass them to megui via an avisynth script and process them.

No problems so far apart from the hiccup described but since solved.
