Hello,

I have this video here, it has hardcoded "black bars" above and below the actual picture. Is there a way of autocropping it without reencoding it?

OS is Vista64

thanks

How is it done?
I don't see any button for loading the video - maybe you did think, I want to crop the on the fly while watching?
I want to actually remove the black bars from the file, not just hide them.

thanks

Why did you put the black bars on in the first place? If you didn't make it, where did you get it?

I'm new to this as you can see by my post counter, it was a mistake. I just want to avoid the whole reencoding process, since it takes quite some time on my slow machine.

You'll have to re-encode to remove the bars, so to avoid quality loss you should do it from your original source material.
