Hello,

i would like wmp12 (64bit) to use ffdshow while playing xvids. I managed to play mkvs with ffdshow audio, video and haali spliter in 64bit mode withouth problem. But i can't make it load ffdshow in xvid movies. In graphstudio64 it shows ffdshow for both audio and video and it also loads when i try to play movie in grapshstudio.

Is only chance to get subtitles in wmp12 to use vobsub x64? (BTW i think wmp can play almost anythink with it's default codecs :) )

I have tried that tool, but it does not help. Most weird thing i found is that the x264 mkv is switched to ffdshow while avi xvid don't.

Also when i install vobsub x64 (i din't found any official repo so i just googled and tried some two versions) movies with subtitles fail to play \:

Oh BTW any eta for ffdshow to support WMF? :) Will it even help?

As i'm only the advanced "end user" i will be quite satisfied with microsoft filters for "everything" and working x64 version of vobsub - I still was not able to find out how to set subtitles to same size on screen for different movie sizes (have same size of subtitles for 1080p movie and standard 350MB episode of dexter :) ).

I can try to export some registry vaules if you tell me exactly what registry to export if there is someone who can look on it and found out error.

Now i somehow managet to get mkvsplitter for avis/xvid to work in 32bit mode, but i still can't get it to work in 64bit mode in wmp (in directshow players it loads ok in 64bit too). But when it can work in 32bit there must be a way to make it work in 64bit also.
