Subtitle not being displayed in MPC. (external .srt/sub file)

As mentioned in the title, its getting on my nerves now. I cant get the subtitle to be working. When the sub is muxed into the container, i can view it fine. But when its an external .srt/idx-sub file, i cant see it. If that helps, I have installed K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 4.80.

Any help plz.

Have you checked "Auto-load subtitles"? This has always worked for me without issue, provided the naming follows the video file: e.g., test.avi and test.eng.srt (or just test.srt).

And both files must be in the same folder.
And they must have the same first name, like: test.m2ts, test.srt....

If you use Vista or Win7 select EVR Custom Pres.
In WinXP you need to select VMR7/9
