Hi guys. Hopefully someone can help me with this encoding problem.

I'm using foobar2000 with Nero AAC codec to convert my audio books from mp3 to mp4. I'm using the foobar converter option "Generate Multi-Track Files" so that all mp3 files of one album are merged to one single mp4 file. Everything fine so far.

My problem is, that foobar doesn't embedd the cover art of the mp3 files into the mp4s.

Anyone knows a tools I can use to do Multi-Track File Encoding with Nero AAC like foobar but is able to embedd the album art of the mp3s?

thanks for you help! :thanks:

Thanks for the hint. Looks nice but unfortunately it's not what I'm looking for.

What I need is a tool that (like foobar) automatically recognised all files that belong to the same album and encodes these into one single file. But (unlike foobar) saves the album art within the converted files!

For example, I have these files which are already tagged and have embedded cover art:

Audiobook1-Track1.mp3
Audiobook1-Track2.mp3
Audiobook1-Track3.mp3
Audiobook2-Track1.mp3
Audiobook2-Track2.mp3
Audiobook3-Track1.mp3
Audiobook3-Track2.mp3
Audiobook3-Track3.mp3

With foobar I mark all of them and choose "convert -> multi-track files".

Now i get following files:
Audiobook1.mp4
Audiobook2.mp4
Audiobook3.mp4

So far, so good. But foobar doesn't write the album art into the files. I have to manually add it after encoding. I'm doing a lot of batch encoding and this is why I'm looking for an automated solution.

Hope you know now what I'm looking for.
