View Full Version : 23.976 -> 25 fps and first ~15% of video is stuttering

I converted H.264 1080p 23.976 fps video to DVD PAL format with AssumeFPS(25), but the beginning of the video (first ~15% of it) is stuttering. Rest of it is smooth like it should be. The conversion was remade without audio, but it didn't matter. Last test was to re-encode it with x264 CRF 18 (MeGUI), but the results are same. Original 23.976 fps is 100% smooth.

Is there any program which could scan the video stream integrity and help me to find the problem?

It seems that A2DSource was the reason. Switched to DirectShowSource and now the video is 100% smooth.
