Looking around "thar internets", I found that HE-AAC seems to be supported on the PSP (Since firmware 2.80), but it's limited to videos (Audio files still get played as LC-AAC, so half the frequency is gone).
However, muxing a PSP-compatible MP4 video with an HE-AAC audio file doesn't seem to work to any real capacity. It shows up as a viable file but I get the "Video cannot be played" error.
Is there any other option, homebrew or otherwise, to get a full LC-SBR/HE-AAC file to play to its full potential on the PSP? I figured if anyone's figured it out by now, it's gotta be someone at Doom9 ;)
Any help, of course, is most appreciated.
