PROBLEM IS >>
PgcEdit 9.2 has a config error, and the wizard is not operational

PgcEdit 9.2
I open and launch PacEdit with the PLS2 Wizard.
When finished and try to burn disk, I get error message,

ERROR MESSAGE IS>>
PgcEdit 9.2
Application Error
(X) Can’t Read”::Config (auto_Launch
can't read "::config(auto_launch_menubuttons_parser)": no such element in array
can't read "::config(auto_launch_menubuttons_parser)": no such element in array
while executing
"set orig_$opt $::config($opt)"

invoked from within
"open_dvd_wo_messages false"
(procedure "::plugins::psl2::wizard" line 718)
invoked from within
"::plugins::psl2::wizard"
("after" script)

All I am doing now is decrypting with the PgcEdit v 7.3 wizard PSL2 Plug in and burning with DVD Shrink
I burn with Shrink/Nero which I use because I like the re-author feature, of Shrink.
My OS > Windows XP Pro, Dell Dimension XPS computer.

I Tried>>From Home Page > “Installation of PgcEdit.exe (under Windows)”

I tried this: But I don’t think I got it right. >>

“Download and install the zipped version, and remove or rename the PgcEdit config file "C:\Documents and Settings\<your user name>\Application Data\PgcEdit\pgcedit.cfg".
Note that application data is an hidden folder, so, you have to modify the folder options to see it.
(me)> C:\Documents and Settings\Captain Fred\Application Data\PgcEdit\pgcedit.cfg “

also tried the following>>
“Go to the start menu, then click run. Then type ‘regedit’ without the quotes. Then, go through the explorer menu on the left in the following order:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion

In there, there should be a key called ‘ProgramFilesDir’. Change the value to the path you want, but don’t add a slash at the end. {I COULD NOT FIND “ProgramFilesDir”}

This is not a bug in PgcEdit itself. The "auto_launch_menubuttons_parser" option was removed in PgcEdit version 9.0, and the PSL2 plugin was not updated to reflect this change. You can fix this problem yourself by removing "auto_launch_menubuttons_parser" from the plugin source file

You don't mean to delete "Auto_Comment_Plugin.td" ?

I mean to open the psl2_plugin.tcl file in Notepad, search for "auto_launch_menubuttons_parser" (without quotes) and delete it. If you have version 2.21 of the plugin, the line of interest is 3342. If you open the psl2_plugin.tcl file in something other than Notepad, the line might be 3343 - that's because the Windows Notepad does not recognize a line break if it is not CRLF, and there are a few LF-only line breaks in the plugin source file.

I removed the line, > auto_launch_menubuttons_parser in notepad after a search. Rebooted etc. Got a group of several new errors from PSL2 plug in/DVD Decrypter >

DVD Decrypter
ParsVTS Run time Exception
File VTS_14 (and 15) _ 0.IFO

Message = Eaccess Violation.

My PC doesn’t seem to work the way it should, so I will just delete and reinstall the older version 7.3 PgcEdit. Thanks for your help. Captf
