View Full Version : Lengthening of video after indexing

I'm not entirely sure where things are going wrong, but after indexing a dvd the length of the video and audio is lengthened by 10 seconds. Normally this wouldn't be an issue but I'm encoding a bunch music video discs for a friend and the chapter locations are important.

Is there anyway to prevent this? Or barring anyway to correct this is there a way to lengthen chapters by an equation (for example 1 second for every 60 that have passed).

I'm encoding these into mkv and am using ogg format chapters. I'm using DVD Decrypter and indexing via MeGUI.

I'm encoding a bunch music video discs for a friend That's a prima facie violation of forum rule 6. You can clarify things in a PM to me if you want to get this re-opened.

In PM, OP gave a link to a time-based subscription video promo service. Their terms of service include:

"all forms of digital encoding or duplication onto ANY format, is expressly prohibited"

So we cannot help with this.
