Hi, I seem to get an error whenever im opening a .mkv file with staxrip.
I get past the Demux step and then i get the error below.
http://i37.tinypic.com/keez3a.jpg
"C:\StaxRip\Applications\DGAVCIndex\DGAVCIndex.exe" -i "C:\Documents and Settings\aVo\Desktop\FILENAME.264" -o "%working_dir%\FILENAME.dga" -a -h -e
Preparer: Demux and index AVC using DGAVCIndex by extension
I was hoping someone could help me out. This only happens with .MKV files.

Do you get the same error from the original Blu-ray or HD-DVD if you open the stream from a copy on your HDD?

I'm using a very old staxrip. it's version StaxRip 1.1.1.0
I like that version because it's a lot simpler and easier for me. For doing my regular encodes, i use MegUI. I'm using windows Xp SP3

downloaded That's a rule 6 violation. Read and follow our forum rules, especially rule 6! You get a pass on it this time but strikes will follow for repeated violations. You have to own the material legitimately to discuss it here.

Please try version 1.1.1.7:

It fixes mkv related bugs and has better error handling. The error handling is better on Vista or Win 7 however since it uses TaskDialogs.
