Hello. I have been backing up some bluray discs using Megui.

After cutting credits and saving the cut file, the video encodes without a flaw.

I have demuxed the True HD stream to the 640Kb/sec core stream.

I load the core ac3 stream in the cutter along with the cut file, but all Megui does is report an error.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I can re-encode the audio but it seems unnecessary to affect the quality this way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to post the error.

Edit: My first guess is that you don't have BeSplit and the path set to it.

You are correct. I was unaware of the requirement to download and set this up.

Thanks for your help.Sorry for the bother.

I used the cutter for 4 movies.

For 2, the cuts were fine and the audio synced perfectly.

For the other two, the multiplexed files were off by several seconds for audio sync.

Any help with this would be appreciated. Do you need to split on keyframes or something? I am new to bluray and x264 encoding.

Thanks for any help...

You shouldn't. Everything that comes out of Avisynth before it hits the encoder is an I-frame. Are the files you're starting with split across multiple m2ts files?

No. Single bluray ts streams.

I may have to burn the disc first to be sure. Could be my player stuttering on the audio abit but its off pretty consistently by 4 or 5 seconds.

Could ripping to a usb harddrive have aything to do with it? 16 vs 32 bit files or something?

No, I don't think so, unless you're ever dealing with WAV files bigger than 2GB.

Hi. I checked the thread, my issue is different.

The problem was with my playback software falling out of sync on some files.

Once burned, they played fine on my ps3.

Thanks to all...
