Hi,
I was looking to convert my wtv files to mkv because of the smaller size. the original wtv files look fine in media center. and then when i convert to dvr-ms, they still look fine in media center. but then i convert to either mkv with handbrake or to uncompressed avi (so i can edit it later) with virtualdubmod and the picture quality suffers a lot (playing back through media center classic homecinema). it becomes darker, grainier, etc. can anyone help me out with how to convert these files properly? i've tried a bunch of different software and the end results are all the same.
