Anyone watch the Linkin Park New Divide video on Youtube? I know this is hardly current anymore but I was curious and looked it up the other day only to be disappointed, then confused.
At several of the scene breaks it looks like the video has dropped a key frame because the video is discolored and the image tears and smears. It completely destroys a couple parts of the video. At first I attributed this to the way Youtube tends to butcher videos by re-encoding them (and in this case screwing up at the scene breaks). But I have since found the video at various other places, including the LP website and they all show this anomaly. Do any of you think this could have been intentional, or is it just that the people in the industry are incompetent?
Of note, the version available on the iTunes store does not have the same scene breaks because it is not the same version of the video. As such it does not show the same problem since it does not contain the scene breaks in question.
