I used Handbrake to create a mkv of an episode which turned out great. The total time of the episode I encoded was 22min 21sec. I used MKVExtract to extract the .h264 file from it so I could add 2 audio tracks and a subtitle track. So I used MKVMerge to join my .h264 file, 2 audio tracks, and 1 subtitle track together into a MKV file. My new MKV file now say's my video is 46min 23sec. Why is this happening? I did the same exact steps with the SAME video, SAME GUI, Same codec, etc.... just a different deblocking setting and my final mkv file after re-merging my files turned out fine, the total time did say 22min 21sec.

Hi!

Sounds like you "Appended" something (Perhaps the TWO audiostreams") rather than "Adding"...

I figured out what the problem was but i don't know why it is happening though. I muxed everything but the subtitle file and my mkv worked fine, the correct length of the video was displayed. Now my question is, why is the subtitle file effecting what the video length is and what can i do to fix it ? I am using a srt subtitle file.
