How to turn a bunch of http address of streaming channels to a playlist ?

I have a bunch of streaming channels with their corresponding http addresses. I would like to turn them into a playlist so that it can be easily played in mplayer instead of copy pasting them everytime into the URL box.

How can I do this ?

Open Notepad, put each URL into it's own line and save the result as ".m3u" file ;)

If you don't use a front-end like SMPlayer but pass the playlist file to MPlayer.exe directly, the "-playlist" switch will be needed!

nice, can I name the links as channel names so that I know what channel I'm going to be playing when clicking the address in the playlist ?
