Hi, i've been using BD RB for quiet a while now and i'm just running into trouble, i'm running vista 32bit, rip with any dvd hd to .iso, mount with daemon tools and rebuild to dvd9 with BD RB. i've a request that i don't know if is going to be possible, but (1)is there a way in BD RB to continue/resume encoding from the failing percentage?

the reason i'm asking is because since the latest 2 releases of BD RB i haven't been able to do a succesfull back up, half way on second pass and over i get the x264 has stopped working and i just wish i could at least start from there.

i haven't done anything to my system nor upgrade anything the movies i'm tring to do are knowing, obssesed and da vinci code. any help would appreciated.

@vacano

Please don't hijack other people's threads. I have broken this out to a thread of its own.

There are many thousands of people using X264, including me, and no reports are coming it of it just stopping. It is very solid.

Sorry, man, but if you're seeing it die and nobody else is, the only difference is the system you're running it on. I would have to guess it is unstable. Often you can run a system in that state for a long time and it isn't noticable, but when you start doing video encoding at 100% for long periods it pushes your system to its limit and any instability will show up.

Of course there are other possibilities, like bad rips or flakey codecs -- but I think instability is the #1 candidate.

You may want to go back and say "What have I changed on my system?" (other than BD-RB).

thanksYou're quite welcome ;>}

You might want to open up your PC's case and get rid of all accumulated dust bunnies, grease, etc.
