Upload problem

Hello.

My pc refuses to upload any file to any website. I know why the uploads always fail, but I don't know how to slove the problem.
When I select the file I want to upload, the "documents and settings" always changes to "fakepath".
Anyone know how to solve this?

Sounds like a malware (virus, trojan, etc) or some kind of "security" software is preventing you from selecting files in HTML forms.

Did you scan your computer with an up-to-date Antivirus software? Did you try several browsers like Firefox, Opera, Safari and Chrome?

And did you check installed security software for features like "block web uploads" or "block sending of files in HTML forms" ???

Yes, I checked everything, and my computer seems to be clean.

Well, that is... There's no virus or anything, but you talked about lock upload settings, where are they?

I have no idea. But some kind of "security" software (Antivirus, Adblock, Firewall, etc) may block sending files via HTML forms. Anything of that kind installed?

Also: Did you try different web-browser as suggested in my previous post? Do they all show the same problem ???

It's solved. I don't know what those Inter Explorer 8 developers are trying to do in their programs, but apperantly Internet Explorer was preventing me from uploading 'for my own safety'. If I want to upload myself, then I think it's 'safe', no?

Depends on how "critical" the information is that your are uploading and to whom you are sending that data :D

Well, uploading subtitles is safe, I think.
