Money and Avisynth

Last night I bought forty dollars worth of shots at a bar because someone did a cartwheel. (South Florida is like this, that's all ... don't come here ... please stay where you are)

It seems to me that I could just as easily give money to Ben Rudiak Gould for my AviSynth usage. I think it's a pretty robust software package, and I am more impressed with it the more I use it.

But when you go to give money, the security certificate comes from paypal.x.com ... it's invalid! Was the web site hacked to change the link? If so, I can't trust the e-gold number either.

So ... does anyone know BRG's paypal info? Or any secure way to get him $ome ca$h? And if so, why isn't this more readily available information? The guy has an essay in which he makes a very solid case that AviSynth is more productive to the economy than drunken cartwheels.

And what about you? You don't like money? Your donation page is the same as BRG's old one ... btw dgsplitter, dgindex, dgdecode, dgAVCDec, etc. ... my usage is around two rounds of shots, or around 100 $ ...

I feel like I'm missing something about coders and money ... btw yourself and BRG

Don't see it .. went to neuron2.net ... first I went to Quantum Musings but it was 404 not found... I didn't see any donate link so I clicked 'Search' ... well the first time I clicked on the first search result which took me to BRG's cached page from Berkeley.

So the 2nd time, I found the donate button on the DGAVCDecode page... and ... copy paste neuron2 (wont let me change the amount) ... click there .... 'Other' .... poof! Don't spend it all in one place ;)

My donations are apparently working fine. Have you tried my donate button?I know you only added the "Donate" button after releasing the NV tools, but that button therefore IS fairly well-buried deep in your site. Maybe you'll want to make it just a little easier for well-wishers to find it! ;)
