The PAL video is Film content sped up to 25fps and flagged as interlaced. I'm using QuEnc as the encoder.
Using Spline36Resize and ConvertToYV12 I can't detect any difference in the encoded files when viewed with VirtualDub whether I use interlaced=true or false, and the size of the m2v comes out the same both ways. If I use AutoYUY2 before resizing and interlaced=false I still can't see any difference, but the file is 7% smaller. Are any of these methods correct?
