TDeint or TDeint with NNEDI2 should work, even yadif should be fine. What problem are you having? have you tried something like MCBob?

Your clip deinterlaces fine with every deinterlacer I tried. Of course, it has also been field blended, but that is a totally different issue.

I don't do blended stuff but I hear a lot about SRestore.

There are people here that know a lot about blended field handling. But it's slow on weekends. I have edited your title to try to draw their attention.

You can call me "Don". The sir stuff is not needed. Last Thursday, during my club water polo practice, someone called me "old man". That stung. I take comfort that I can easily outsprint his fat butt.

SRestore at default settings does about as well as can be expected:

Yadif(Mode=1,Order=1)#or your favorite bobber
SRestore()

But there are just too many blended fields for it to unblend everything:

http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Srestore

SRestore has a bad memory leak and if the movie is a long one (as most Indian ones are), I'd suggest splitting it into 2 parts for encoding.

And Tom, what do your enemies call you?
The other day I yelled at some guys for stealing mangoes and got called a "damn haole". In Hawaii that's a racial slur.

Sorry Don, Sorry Tom...IMO best is "neuron2" and "manono" lest you get used-to using first names and use them deep into a thread. Casual users of doom9 can get confused about which posts/whose posts you're referring to cuz they don't know first names.

I've been around here a long time but didn't know for example that manono and I shared the same first name!
