Hi.
I have a .m2ts file that I recorder from my Hauppauge HD PVR. It is a 1080i h.264 video file.
my ultimate goal is to convert it to a x264 .mkv 720p file.
I have tried everything to get this thing to convert but nothing will work.
Im trying to demux the m2ts stream but everything errors. In tsMuxeR GUI it starts demuxing, then gives a bunco of
Bad SEI detected. SEI too short
errors and then finally ends on a Not enought buffer for parse video stream. Current frame num 22 (yes, with the word enough misspelled). At the top of the window it says "Tsmuxer finished with an error code -2."
I was able to demux the video with xport, and it seemingly worked (the resulting stream was about the right size) but it refused to play in MPC or open in any video programs.
Any help/sugestions?
