I have Core i7 940, 6GB RAM and Vista 64 bit.
It looks like BD-Rebuilder package has only 32 bit programs in it.
Can some parts of the package be changed to 64 bit versions to improve performance?
If yes, what, how, and where should I do changes?
What improvements can I get from using 64 bit programs?

maybe 10% faster encoding if you are lucky

The program is in beta... wouldn't it be better to get it stable for all users before concentrating on 64-bit users?

It seems like it is a front on end that uses other programs, that do have 64 bit versions, which are not included in the BD-RB package.
I thought 64 bit was the holy grail of performance... CPU, OS... 10%, huh?

BD-Rebuilder is much more than a simple front end for other programs... As you used the term "the holy grail", you obviously understand the installed base of 64-bit OS systems is rather small. To complicate things further, I don't believe that all the components used in BD-Rebuilder have a 64-bit version, and most that do are for compatibility, not for optimization. JDobbs is pretty much a forward thinker. I'm sure when the time is right, he'll have a 64-bit version.

It looks like
My PC is similar to yours, but I run it on Windows7 (and still beta for that matter), and never had a problem running BD-Rebuilder.
If your Vista is legit, I think you are entitled to a free upgrade to Win7, though I'm not sure. In any case, if you can, I'd recommend to migrate to Win7, which is much more light on the computer, I don't think you'll have any problem running BD-R.
Good luck :)

What do I need to do to get that 10%?

I'd challenge anyone to do a full BD backup to BD-25/9/5 from a BD-50 with any combination of all other tools available today combined.
If BD-RB is just a front-end, I must be wasting my time writing all these thousands of lines of code... what was I thinking?
