1) Is it possible to decrypt any BD to my HDD? I am only seeing the "BD to BD" option.
2) I asked on this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=137151&page=13) if decrypting the BDs will reencode/compress anything, or if the files (and the video/tracks) will remain untouched, with the same quality and characteristics (other than region codes for example) from the original source.
The answer was that "all of the tools listed in the guide merely remove DRM. They don't touch the audio or video. Removing audio tracks, etc does not touch the video."
Which equals to the option "Direct Stream Copy" used on VirtualDub, for example, instead of "Full Processing".
Well, I have many DVDs here and I want to remove foreign soundtracks (spanish for example) that I am not going to listen, only letting the original ones (english) available. Removing these tracks or subtitles from the selection while using DVDFab (and DVD-9 profile, of course) will somehow reencode the video/tracks? I mean, will they be 100% the same as if I were watching the original source, only without the undesired material?
If the answer is yes, then I might start removing those tracks to save a lot of space here.
