View Full Version : Situation with TSMuxer / MPC-HC (solved)

I have a curious situation here with TSMuxer. Let me explain what's going on.

I have one Blu-ray decrypted to my HDD. Now I want to open the M2TS file (from the movie) and remove the foreign tracks, letting only the english available.

*BDMV/STREAM/00025.m2tsThe thing is, after selecting the tracks I want to remove with TSMuxer, and saving a M2TS file again (or using the output option "Blu-ray disc"), when I try to open that file using MPC-Home-Cinema, it doesn't show anything. Only a black screen (Reproducing DXVA) with the cursor stuck on 0:00:00, showing the lenght of the movie.

BSPlayer is able to open this new saved file, but lacks many options from MPC. And there's more - this is happening either I save the new file as M2TS (alone) in my Desktop or in a new BDMV/CERTIFICATE directory (without the original BDMV/CERTIFICATE files that are reffering to all other 24 M2TS files, I might add). Even if I move the M2TS file (alone) to the original folder, it will not work with MPC-HC.

Since I don't understand how these things are working, can someone explain what's the best way to make sure the 00001.m2ts file (from the movie) will be recognized as a valid BD file without those not wanted soundtracks on the project folders from my quote? Remember, the only source I have now to work with are my decrypted files from the quote. In theory, it should have worked, what changed now to MPC reject it?

MPC-HC version? You haven't clearly stated if it only happens with DXVA or not. Tried turning it off?

You haven't clearly stated if it only happens with DXVA or not.What I stated before was that the whole project you see on the quote (the original files) can be played fine while using MPC-HC. If I open TSMuxer, then select some tracks to be removed, and save a new file (M2TS/output), then this file will not be available to be played by MPC-HC. I tried to restart Windows XP SP3, but that didn't helped me.

It seems (that's a good theory), the original M2TS file was recognized by MPC-HC because when we open the file, it's somehow connected with the other folders with tiny files like 00001.clpi, 00001.bdjo. Perhaps creating a new file will remove that link from the BD project (decrypted files on my HDD), like the need to edit the IFO files from a DVD project again to make the altered VOBs match them. Do you know what I mean?

I am currently using TSMuxer again and this time I have selected all 25 files and about the output, I selected "Blu-ray disc". The only file I was unable to select from the BMV/STREAM was the 00024.m2ts, TSMuxer rejected because it was 30 KB. Let's see if MPC-HC can recognize the movie now, I'll get back to you later (Edit: No luck, TSMuxer saved a single file with all of them, not each one of them in the STREAM folder...). I am out of ideas now.

As I said earlier, one thing I tried was to use TSMuxer with the M2TS file from the movie, remove the other tracks, then output as a new M2TS file and place that file between all others from the quote. That didn't changed anything, so the error must be related to the other tiny files that are linked to this STREAM folder.

Tried turning it off?I am still looking for the option to turn this thing off. Where is it?
