Audio compare software - any idea?

I'm looking for a software that loads 2 audio tracks and let you hear both (say 1 in Left chn, 2 in Right chn), allows scrolling back and forth, and also allows you to slide one track relatively to the other one (you know, to superpose those two, or to determine the amount of relative delay).

Has anyone any idea of such software? Or is anyone talented enough to do it?

Oh dear, it seems that the new version knows how to handle AC-3. My version is an older one, it didn't support AC-3 nor DTS.
