hi,

i installed my os new (Win7 Build 7100) and now x264.exe crashed every time :(

i'm using megui (latest Version) and this avs file

Load_Stdcall_plugin("C:\Program Files (x86)\AviSynth 2.5\plugins\yadif.dll")
mpeg2source("video.d2v")
Yadif(3,1)
crop(6,2,710,572)
spline36resize(704,400)

Preview works fine, but encoding crashed :(

My System
- i7 920 (not overclocked)
- 6GB RAM
- GTX260

System works stable with all other programms!

any ideas?

How is this supposed to help? He doesn't even use DirectShow(Source) in his script.

Anyway, he needs to give more info to get help...

Yeah I know :)

Use this build because old jeeb's build crashed on my pc as well.

Try again with ripbot264. There is old build included r1169 which works for sure. I tested on my friend's pc (Quad@4ghz windows 7 r7100 x64 8gb ram)

What does mpc say?

Remove AviSynth and install again. Do not use 64bit version!

grab a traceback with gdb?

????

I only installed Windows new! Here is Nothing overclocked.
My Complete Systemspecs are here: http://www.sysprofile.de/id11275

The Funny think is that MediaCoder works fine with x264, but not with MeGui or Commandline

As long as you don't give more info, we can only guess.

So please do what Shinigami-Sama suggested: Run x264 in the debugger (gdb) and post the traceback!
