Hi all,
If i have a pretty much standard xvid with mp3 audio, and i go to a random offset, delete up to that point, select 1 min forward and then delete after that point, when i save it with direct stream copy usually it will end up being 1min long and audio out of sync with the video jumping forward a bit, then i save it again and it will become about 1 min 2-8 seconds long and in sync.
The other thing it might do is create a file 2x the size it should be but in sync and the correct length.
Ive also had problems with files being oversize with gknot, i did a bit of researching and found old posts talking about newer xvid revisions not supporting vfw.
atm im just using my other xp machine to use vdubmod but is there a way to get it working on my vista x64 setup? cheers
