I'm going through my raw BD rips and encoding them using RipBot264 (in an attempt to cut down on lost HDD space). All was going well until I got to "28 Days Later," the app finished encoding but, the final product was in Spanish!

Is there any way to (I don't know the correct terminology) "re-mux" the audio? I.e. seperate the Spanish audio from the final MKV file and then "re-mux" the ripped English track (ripped from the BD disk)? And what software would I have to use?

This would save me alot of time as BD jobs on my Dual core can take upwards of 20 hours :P

Thanks!

Use mkvextract to demux your file. Then use eac3to (or some gui for it) to convert the audio track from the blu ray to whatever you want. Finally mux everything with mkvmergegui.

Did you select English as the language you wanted? If so I would recommend that you also bring this to the attention of the ripbot264 developer so that he may attend to the issue. It night even be an eac3to issue (the tool which is sorting through all of the BD data) and in this case the author of eac3to should be notified and supplied with a sample.

I did not select English as the audio track. I assumed that this feature was strictly for the purpose of labeling the audio tracks, i.e. I could choose Spanish and thus, have the English track incorrectly labeled; as opposed to being used to actually identifying for RipBot which audio track to rip.

I'd love to go back try again but, like I said it ties my system up far too long for my likes and nurbs's solution (above) is much more appealing.
