Often I want achieve certain things, search a application but don't find something suitable and then build a small application or extension myself. I'm looking for good ways of sharing such things.

SourceForge.net
guliverkli hosts tons of projects/files there (which proves that it works alright for hosting lots of programs).

I think SourceForge is very slow and hard to use, I made a file release for StaxRip yesterday, it was rather cumbersome.

I'm thinking of something more simple like a blog, source control is not needed, just something to present the application: an explanation, a screenshot and the download.

My new site is now up and running, not much content yet but I've got quite a few application to surface in the future.

The site runs on the free hosting service bplaced.net and the efficient CMS system razorCMS with TinyMCE as WYSIWYG html editor.
