I am trying to convert some DVD to *.avi files, Normally I just select the *.ifo file and AutoGK does the rest.
However I have come across a group of DVD that have as many as 8 or 9 *.Ifo files.
Do I need to ripped each of these or is their some way to rip the entire file in one go?
Thanks

Normally you decrypt the VTS that contains the movie or whatever kind of video it is that you want. If it's an episodic DVD, then you might decrypt the contents of several VTS's to separate folders. The fact that there are 8 or 9 IFOs doesn't really tell us very much. Maybe most of them are trailers or other kinds of extras. Have a look and then decide which ones you want to keep.
...or is their some way to rip the entire file in one go?
The entire DVD? Yes, DVD Decrypter in File Mode, or DVDFab HD Decrypter in Full Disc Mode. However, for the purposes of AutoGK it's better to decrypt only what you'll be encoding.

Thank you for your reply.
I tried to DVD Decrypt in the file mode and I still came up with 11 different VTS_0x_x with large chunks of data (860 MB each).
Am I meant to put each of these thru AutoGK?
I found a program called DoItFast4U that managed somehow to compress it down to 3 *.MV2 with 3 *.ACE files. Can I stick these into AutoGK and get some *.avi files?

I guess I wasn't very clear. Using File Mode will give you the entire DVD - menus, extras, as well as the main video. That's usually exactly what you don't want to do. You want to decrypt only the video(s) you intend to run through AutoGK. That usually means decrypting the VTS you want using DVD Decrypter in IFO Mode or, if it's a newer DVD with newer copy protection, using DVDFab HD Decrypter in Movie Mode.
Is this thing a movie you want to run through AutoGK? If all the VTS's contain about 860 MB of date each, then maybe it consists of a series of edisodes? Just what is it exactly? What is the name and region of this DVD?
And no, you can't stick an ACE file into AutoGK, and an M2V is video only, with no audio.

Thanks for your reply. Yes it's a TV mini series I understand that I must extract the episodes one by one from the IFO mode.
