I used BD-Rebuilder to re-encode ro BD-5 however is no sound. If I take the same files that I burnt to the DVD5 disc and burn those to a BD25 disc then I get sound on the BD25 disc. Is there some configuration setting I may be missing when burning to DVD disc? I'm using the latest image burn 2.4.4.0 to do my burns.

If it's a Universal disc and you're playing it on a Sony standalone then it's an issue with the Sony firmware which has already been highlighted.
If not, you're going to have to supply more information than this.

I have done some more investigation. The audio on the BD-5 disc (DVD TY04) is DTS. When I playback the BD-5 on my XP PC using PowerDVD 9 with LG GGW-H20L I get no sound. Same files burned on BD25 using same setup and same audio DTS I get sound.
I then played the BD-5 on my HTPC which uses my stereo system to decode the DTS and I have sound. There seems something wrong with BD-5 sound decode on my XP PC. However, it can decode the DTS on the BD25 disc.

@rysktkr
Hi!
1) What's the problematic BluRay title?
2) What version of PowerDVD are you using?

When you play the BD-5 version with PowerDVD, are you actually allowing PowerDVD to load the disc and "play as a BluRay disc", or are you simply loading the .M2TS file into PowerDVD?
I ask because I've observed (with PowerDVD v.7.3) that playback of a DTS/.M2Ts will play silently, while playing the disc "as a BluRay disc" will play with audio...

PowerDVD9 doesn't play DTS sound from AVCHD/BD-5/BD-9, only LPCM and Dolby Digital because technical speaking AVCHD standard dont include DTS audio. This time the software player is to strict with the specs:(.
Try WinDVD or an older version of PowerDVD.
