ripped episode vts_1_0 too short

I'm using dvdfab in main movie mode to pull episodes from a disc and the video_ts opens as a 42 minute video, but vts_1_0 is only 37 minutes. Also, if you add vts_1_1 and vts_1_2 you only have a 37 minute file. There are no other vob files in this folder.

Where are these other 5 minutes coming from? I know that megui uses vts_1_1 etc. to encode so I'm sure those 5 minutes will be lost.

VTS_1_0 would be a menu. Is that what you want to encode?

And how are you figuring the lengths of these things? Maybe you want VTS_1_1 and VTS_1_2. Maybe you can check the end of the VTS_1_2. If it's the end of the episode, I'd say you got the whole thing.

I was checking the length by playing vts 1 and 2 in MPC-HC and adding the times together, but it appears that one of them is reporting an incorrect length as after I encoded them the result was a 43 minute file.

It seems odd to me, but since it seems to be working I'll just wait for the finished product to make sure the videos are complete.
