Greetings...
I'm currently working with HDV sourced material (1440x1080), and am downsizing to 720x480 output for CCE encodes.

I'm looking to mimic my Avisynth script with Vdub filters, but can't seem to find the same functionality.

I need:

a) A deinterlacer similair to Yadif(), that does a doublerate, and deinterlace?
b) Lanczos resizer (unchecking interlaced processing)
c) Separate fields
d) Select every
e) Weave

This method through Avisynth produces a wonderful output, but i can't seem to find similair filter groupings in Vdub.
I'd prefer to take advantage of the batch processing and GUI that comes with Vdub, but if not possible, will be more than happy to continue with Avisynth.

Thanx..

the ffvdub filter for virtualdub (installed in ffdshowfolder when you install ffdshow codec), allows you to use avisynth inside virtualdub.

Thanks.......

But since my Avisynth script already opens up in Vdub, it's not necessary in my case...
Again, if there's any Vdub specific filter suggestions, similair to my request, i'd be more than happy to give it a go...

The latest 1.9.x experimental versions have a Yadif based deinterlacer and Lanczos3 resizing has been there for I don't know how long. You can't do a real Separatefields() or Weave() yet.
