I'm confused I'm trying to encode a cartoon from a dvd into single episodes using megui. Using megui, It causes the resulting output to be out of sync. But on the dvd they are fine. I can even back them up using dvdrb and they're fine there too. Some help would be appreciated. Some more accurate information, FPS 29.97 21:17:774, ac3 21:16.896 48000 2ch. <-thats what reported in ripbot, i tried ripbot same problem. I'm guessing the delay is wrong? Upon further looking, all the different vob sets have varying degree of mismatch between the video and audio time.

Thanks sharktooth, I believe you solved my problem. I reripped the dvd with dvd fab, but now there is a 5ms difference between the video and audio. Is this acceptable? Is this usually how it is? Shouldn't they be exactly the same? Thanks again I really do appreciate it. Little update here, some of the vts, are out a little bit more maybe like .020 - .030 etc.
