Hello everyone. I have an issue with virtualdub v1.8.8 or v1.9.2 beta (both give error). I am trying to capture raw video using component cables via a blackmagic Intensity Pro card. I am using raid 0 and have plenty of space. When the capture file gets close to 1tb, I get this error:
"Capture error: Not enough Superindex entries to index AVI file (261 slots required, 256 slots preallocated"
I have tried to set the superindex using the option>Preferences>AVI, and the number I put in is well over 261 (I've tried many). It looks like this setting has nothing to do with the capture part of the program. Maybe I could manually set the superindex via the registry?
I have done a search on this site with just the keywords "superindex" and got nothing. I searched google, and everyone refers to the AVI settings in Preferences.
If anyone has some insight on this, I thank you for your input.

Got an answer - Over at the support forum at Virutaldub, I was told that this is a bug and hopefully will be fixed in the next release. As of now, there is no way to get around this issue.

Test-7 is out.
(test-7) Filters: Fixed algorithm error in IVTC filter with RGB32, UYVY, and YUY2 formats.
(test-7) Capture: AVI superindex/subindex settings are now respected.
