ProCoder 3 question [Archive]

I've looked through the FAQ and may have missed the answer. Also, version number is important and doom9 won't recognize "3" as a search key.

Q: Are there any special considerations when using ProCoder 3 with DVDRB Pro? Is EclPro needed and, if so, is it set for ProCoder 2?

To use ProCoder 3 you need ECLPro v. 1.10 or higher (current version is 1.11). No other special considerations required, ECLPro can detect which version of ProCoder is used and act accordingly.

ProCoder3 does work with DVD-RB but not with out issues. There are some ECL scripts that do fail and can cause you issue. I have the latest ECLPro v1.11 and as I've stated had issues. In those cases it has been easier to just use CCE instead, 9 pass, and that seems to wrk very well too. I will probably put my ProCoder2 back on my PC and/or need to verify what in the script is causing issues for ProCoder3.
