Apple has a playback software, DVD Player.app, that will play HD-DVDs. But it will only play HD-DVDs created with DVD Studio Pro.
Key Updates include:
-Additional support for playing DSP 4 authored HD DVD folders from DVD discs and hard drives.

So what makes DVD Studio Pro special? Limited codecs? Limited interactivity?

I.E. How can I create a HD-DVD that is compatible with Apple?

Maybe there is a sort of copy-protection, since you'll not have access to keys. So DSP4 will create most probably a sort of "consumer" HD-DVD.

How to create a DVD that will play in a Boing JumboJet?
